Hey,
Quick story before the magic:
Making the transition from “gig” to “show” magician is as scary as jumping into magic as a full time job. There’s just so much behind the scenes and back end stuff you have to learn and buy. My bank account sent me a sympathy card! (lol)
But it’s all an initial fee that pays itself back over time. The merch will be self sustaining after the first couple shows, the lighting and sound gear pay for themselves in similar fashion. I actually knew I would be spending more to get the first show moving than I would make. But, it’s still an exciting adventure I’m happy to be on.
